1. Event Details
The Building Science Summit New Zealand 2026 is a professional education and industry event held in multiple locations across New Zealand. Dates, venues, speakers, and content are subject to change.
2. Ticket Purchases
All ticket purchases are processed via Eventbrite and are subject to Eventbrite’s terms in addition to these Terms and Conditions.
Tickets are issued to individuals and may not be resold without prior written consent.
3. Pricing and GST
All ticket prices are stated in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and are inclusive of GST unless otherwise stated.
Tax invoices will be issued electronically via Eventbrite.
4. Refunds and Transfers
Unless otherwise stated:
- Tickets are non-refundable
- Tickets may be transferred to another attendee up to a reasonable time before the event, subject to Eventbrite’s transfer process
- If the Event or a specific location is cancelled by the organiser, ticket holders will be entitled to a refund of the ticket price paid, excluding any Eventbrite fees where applicable.
5. Changes to Program
We reserve the right to:
- Substitute speakers
- Modify session content
- Adjust schedules, venues, or formats
- Such changes do not constitute grounds for a refund.
6. Attendance and Conduct
Attendees are expected to behave in a professional and respectful manner. We reserve the right to remove any attendee whose conduct is disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate, without refund.
7. Health and Safety
Attendance is at your own risk. You must comply with all venue health and safety requirements and any reasonable instructions given by event staff.
8. Photography and Recording
The Event may be photographed or recorded for educational and promotional purposes. By attending, you consent to the use of images or recordings in which you may appear, unless you notify us in writing prior to the Event.
9. Intellectual Property
All presentation materials, content, and recordings remain the intellectual property of the presenters or event organisers and may not be reproduced or distributed without permission.
10. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by New Zealand law, we exclude liability for any loss, damage, or injury arising from attendance at the Event, except where such liability cannot be excluded under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or other applicable legislation.
11. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and New Zealand courts have exclusive jurisdiction.
